Arthur P. Miller, 77, of Perry Twp., passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 in his residence. He was the husband of Evelyn L. (Werley) Miller. They were married on December 11, 1954 and celebrated sixty years of marriage. Born in Perry Twp., he was the son of the late Arthur S. and Verna A. (Adam) Miller. Arthur was a 1955 graduate of Perry High School. He was a truck driver for Burgmeyer Bros. for eleven years. Arthur was a member of the Teamsters and the National Rifle Association. He was fond of Cub Cadets and was proud of the thirteen that he restored. Arthur also took pride in restoring his '49 Dodge. He enjoyed playing guitar, taking care of the wildlife around his house, and loved his sunflowers. Surviving in addition to his wife is one son: Dennis L. Miller, Kutztown; two daughters: Debra M. (Miller), wife of Larry D. Stitzel, Round Hill, Virginia; and Donna M. Miller, and her partner Randy Boltz, Lenhartsville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Arthur is also survived by one brother: Richard Miller, Perry Twp.; and two sisters: Ella Engel, Leesport; and Marie Strause, Perry Twp. He was predeceased by one son: David L. Miller, who died October 8, 2007; and one grandson. Services will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear).
