Arlene E. Miller, 83, of Shoemakersville, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in her residence after battling cancer for six years. She was the wife of Carl R. Miller, who died July 4, 2006. Born in Germansville, she was the daughter of the late Edward M. Sensinger and Erma (Mantana) Kline. Arlene last worked for Dawson Consumer Products. She enjoyed crocheting, "seek-a-word" books, and watching sports, especially baseball and football. Arlene is survived by four sons: Daniel H. Frey, Tehran, Iran; Rev. Kenneth H. Frey, and his wife Dawn, Leesburg, Florida; Sherwood E. Frey, and his wife Helen, Royersford; and Carl G. Frey, and his wife Beth, Centre Twp.; and four grandchildren: Valerie, Curtis, Zachary, and Jared. She was predeceased by a granddaughter: Danielle; three brothers: Robert, Wayne and George Sensinger; and a step-sister: Beattie Santee. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
