Annie I. Borkey, 91, formerly of Ontelaunee Twp., passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 in Berks Heim. She was the wife of Daniel E. Borkey, who died on February 19, 2009.

Born in West Leesport, she was the daughter of the late Harry B. and Jennie (Ohlinger) Kerns. Annie worked in the cutting room of Diener's Knitting Mill for thirty-seven years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp.

Annie is survived by one brother: Jonathan W. Kerns, Wyomissing; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Berks County Memorial Gardens.
