Anna Zima, 93, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg. She was the wife of John Zima, who died September 14, 2018. Born in Myjava, Slovakia, she was the daughter of the late Stefan and Zuzanna (Surinova) Ochodnicky. Anna was a member of St. Paul's (Smoke) Lutheran Church, Hamburg. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking. Anna is survived by her children: John Zima, Jr., and his wife Daniela, Morganville, NJ; Danny Zima, and his wife Andrea, Lenhartsville; and Anna (Zima) Maronna, Tilden Twp.; and three grandchildren: Daniela, Jason and Lance. She is also survived by a sister: Emilia Talabova, Slovakia. Anna was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 noon from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Windsor Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
