Anna M. Varner, 80, of Millersburg, died Friday, December 25, 2015 in her residence. She was the wife of Charles F. Varner, died February 21, 2000.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Salley (Pritz) Hummel. She worked as a residential service aid at Hamburg Center for 13 years retiring in 1995. She was a member of Hamburg Community Seventh Day Adventist Church, Hamburg. She always enjoyed crocheting, music, and puzzles.

She is survived by two sons: Scott C, husbadnd of Kimberly Varner, Scuylkill Haven, John R. husband of Valerie E. Varner, Tilden Twp.; a daughter: Lori A. (Varner) Livinghouse Batz wife of David D. Batz, Millersburg; seven grandchildren: Jeffrey A. Livinghouse, Jr., Patrick Soellner, Benjamin Varner, Jonathan Batz, Jessica Batz, Selentine Varner, and Stephen Williams, Jr.; and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother: Stanley Hummel.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
