Obituary

Anna E. Nunemaker, 94, of Succasunna, NJ, formerly of Dauberville, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Merry Heart Assisted Living, Succasunna. She was the wife of Harold W. Nunemaker, died August 8, 2010. Born in Centerport, she was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Stella H. (Becker) Faust. She graduated from Perry High School in 1940. She was a member of St. Thomas UCC, Bernville when she resided locally. Anna worked part-time as tip staff for different judges, volunteered to run elections for Centerport Borough, and was a census taker. She enjoyed designing and sewing her own clothing. She even had tags made for her clothing. Anna enjoyed painting as well as cooking. She painted many oil paintings. She was a former vice-president and treasurer of Women's Club of Leesport. Anna is survived by a son: Rodney D. husband of Janet H. (Holderman) Nunemaker, Randolph, NJ; three grandsons: Craig husband of Megan, Bradley, and Keith; and two great-grandchildren: Margaret and Theodore. Services will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Epler's Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the funeral home.
