Anna M. Broomhall, 85, a resident of Berks Heim, formerly of Leesport. She was the wife of Lawrence W. Broomhall, died 1995. Born in Shoemakersville, she was the daughter of the late Milan F. and Mamie E. (Schaner) Henne. She worked as a floor lady for RK Knitting Mills, Reading for many years. She served as den mother for cub scouts, she loved animals and enjoyed gardening. Anna is survived by three sons: Ronald L. Broomhall, husband of Shelley, Leesport, Terry L. Broomhall, husband of Ann, Leesport, and David J. Broomhall, husband of Pat, Fleetwood; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law- Michael Correll, Hamburg. She was predeceased by a daughter: Judy A. (Broomhall) Correll, died January 19, 2016; and five brothers: Wayne "Peck," Norman "Steve," Leroy "Keppie," Mark "Hap," and George "Smilie" Henne. Services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Leesport Cemetery.
