Amaia "Hilda" Zellers, 97, formerly of Tilden Twp., died Monday, May 29, 2017 in her daughter's residence. She was the wife of Earl C. Zellers, died January 20, 1995. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Amaia C. (Moyer) Keller. She was a member of Zion's Church, Hamburg. She worked as a factory worker for the former Burkey Hosiery Company, Hamburg; then as a sewing machine operator for the former Bell-Ann Manufacturing, Reading, and last worked as a custodian for Hamburg Intermediate Unit at Hamburg Center, retiring in 1981. . She was a skilled seamstress. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, enjoyed dancing, and loved reading books. Hilda is survived by a son: Scott A. Zellers, Newmanstown; a daughter: Beverly A. (Zellers) wife of Michael A. Horner, Shoemakersville; four grandsons: Michael F. Horner, Steven E. Horner husband of Donna, Zachary S. Zellers husband of Kaylie, and Ian C. Zellers; and two great-grandchildren: Madelyn R. Horner, and Bennett E. Horner. She is also survived by a sister: Sara J. "Dolly" (Keller) Reppert, Leesport. She was predeceased by a great granddaughter: Amaia Catherine Horner; three brothers: Roy D., Raymond J., and Paul L. Keller; and infant brother David. Services will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off-street parking in rear). Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
