Allen K. Daughtry, Jr., 67, of Perry Twp., passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Sally A. (Broughall) Daughtry. They were married on April 2, 1977 and celebrated forty-four years of marriage. Born in Reading, he was the son of Allen K. Daughtry, Sr., Hamburg; and the late Barbara A. (Reichardt) Daughtry. He was a 1972 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. Allen owned and operated Al Daughtry Electric. He attended Mohrsville Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and biking at the Kerney. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife are two children: Eric L. Daughtry, Fleetwood; and Katie N. (Daughtry), wife of David Didrickson, Fleetwood; and five grandchildren: Bryce, Aiyana, Jaden, Natalie and Levi. Allen is also survived by his father and one brother: Larry M. Daughtry, and his wife Dolly, Hamburg; and one sister: Kelly A. Daughtry, Lancaster Co. Services were private at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Viewpoint Cemetery, Centre Twp. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
