Alesia A. Ely, "Lisa", 59, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was the wife of Kevin K. Ely. They were married on September 4, 2010 and celebrated thirteen years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Dorothy A. (Souders) Deesing. Lisa was a 1983 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. She worked for KRE Security LLC and Clean Imaging Cleaning Service. Lisa was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles, flea markets, collecting shot glasses, listening to ACDC and country music, cooking and baking. Lisa was always there to help anyone in need. She will be missed by her puppy Rosie.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her son: Avery T. Greenawalt; step-daughter: Tara L. Watt; siblings: Joey Deesing, Linda Trate, Cindy Deesing, Tonya Bylina; Michelle Bonenfant and Nathan Deesing; her mother-in-law: Nancy A. Jacklin; and father-in-law: Edgar Ely. Lisa is also survived by grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister: Wanda Bowman; and a brother: Jonathan Deesing.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Thursday 6:00 to 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526 to assist the family with final expenses.
