Yesier Omar Diaz-Ramirez, 9, of Hamburg, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on October 20, 2018. He was the son of Wilber Noel Diaz-Ortiz and Christina Ramirez-Burgos.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, he was a 4th grade student at Tilden Elementary School in the Hamburg Area School District and was a energetic and fun-loving boy. He loved to draw and sing. He especially loved to sing songs from Coco. He will always be remembered for making people laugh; he enjoyed life. Yesier was an organ donor through the Gift of Life Donor Program and helped many people’s lives through his donation.
Yesier is survived by his parents, and his brothers: Ryan Noel Diaz-Ramirez and Zendiel Joel Diaz-Ramirez. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents: Roman Ramirez and Iuelisse Burgos Luna; and his uncles: Michael Ramirez, Raymond Ramirez, Gibert Diaz-Ortz, and Cristian Diaz.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, October 27, 2018 from The Bridge Church, 3561 Old Route 22 Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Hamburg. Visitations will be held Friday, October 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 to 10:30 am in the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home at 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 to assist the family with expenses.
