Obituary for William R. Senft

William R. "Willy" Senft, 69, of Tilden Twp., passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Susan J. (Anspach) Senft. They were married February 8, 2003 in Las Vegas, NV and celebrated 18 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul J. and Helen (Baeighkly) Senft. Willy worked for Rubright Construction Co. for many years learning how to operate equipment, he later worked for DANA Corporation for about 20 years before retiring. During retirement, he was owner and operator, along with his son Scott of S&W Hauling, Inc., Tilden Twp. Willy loved being with his grandchildren and friends. He always enjoyed his cars, trucks, and spending time in his garages. He was a fan of NASCAR.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Scott W. Senft, husband of Kelly (Wagner) Senft, Tilden Twp.; a daughter: Amy J. McLaughlin, Upper Tulpehocken Twp.; four grandchildren: Allyson L. McLaughlin, fiance of Brandon Fry, Dylan S. Senft, Amanda J. McLaughlin, and Chase W. Senft. He is also survived by two sisters: Donna (Senft) Bechtel, Oley, and Paula (Senft) Brensinger, wife of Neil, Schuylkill County; a brother: Kenny Senft, husband of Cindy (Heffner) Senft, Hamburg; his nieces and nephews; and his mother in law: Nancy J. (Faust) Anspach Norton, Hamburg. He was predeceased by a brother: David Senft, husband of Linda (Hartman) Senft.
