William J. Marks, 85, of Lake Wynonah, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Seton Manor. He was the husband of Margot K. (Wolff) Marks.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Willie and Annetta (Rapacioli) Marks. William was a member of the United States Navy and the United States Air Force, retiring from the Air Force in 1970. He worked as an Avionic Radio Technician at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station, where he worked on Army helicopters.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his brothers Mike, husband of Ruth, and Lawrence “Larry”, husband of Sue. Also surviving are William’s nieces and nephews and their families.
A visitation will be held at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., ‪65 S. 4th St., Hamburg, PA‬ (off-street parking in rear) ‪from 10:30 to 11:30 am on Sunday, December 9, 2018‬. The Memorial Services will be held ‪at 11:30. ‬In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hillside SPCA, ‪PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901‬.
