Obituary for Vivian L. Adams (Dengler)

Vivian L. Adams, 85, formerly of Shoemakersville, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of Edmond W. Adams, who died November 22, 2012.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Evelyn (Ely) Dengler. She was a graduate of Reading High School. Vivian first worked for Whitner's. She then owned and operated Ollie's Tavern in Shoemakersville from 1970-1988. Vivian enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos.
Vivian is survived by one daughter: Cheri L. (Adams) Riegel-Hettinger, Shoemakersville; one grandson: Ashley M. Riegel, and his wife Kelly, Hamburg; and two great-grandchildren: Madison and Carter Riegel. She is also survived by one brother: Russell Dengler, Jr., Wernersville; and one niece: Kim Ann (Ohlinger) Welliver, Berwick. Vivian was predeceased by a sister: Dawn Ohlinger, Berwick.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry Twp.
