Obituary for Terry L. Bashore
Terry L. Bashore, 71, of Shartlesville, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 in his residence. He was the husband of Jacel “Jackie” S. (Reed) Bashore. They were married February 22, 1975 and celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Born in Bethel, he was the son of the late Ray W. and Phyllis E. (Waxwood) Bashore. He was a US Marine Corps veteran. Terry was currently the maintenance supervisor at Hamburg Center. He worked at Hamburg Center for 45 years. He was a member and proud supporter of the NRA. He was also a member of Shartlesville Fish and Game Ass’n, and Shartlesville Fire Company. He enjoyed biking, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, especially at their sporting events.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Kristie L. (Bashore) Kauffman, wife of Jeremiah M., Hamburg and KaraBeth E. (Bashore) Piazza, wife of Glen A., Pottsville; and five grandchildren: Madilyn, Gavin, Raegan, Anthony, and Emma. He is also survived by three brothers: Allan husband of Marjorie, Shoemakersville, Bruce husband of Janine, Windsor Twp., and David husband of Bernadine, Upper Bern Twp.; and a sister: Brenda (Bashore), wife of Dale Bashore, Upper Bern Twp.
