Ruth F. Weitzel, 86, of Perry Twp., passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Clarence H. Weitzel, who died February 10, 2015.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Florence (Shade) King. Ruth was a graduate of Perry High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Hamburg Center. She was a member of St. John's (Gernant's) Church, Ontelaunee Twp. Ruth enjoyed camping with her husband.
Ruth is survived by two daughters: Pamela F. Wolfe, Perry Twp.; and Diana R. Withelder, Leesport; twelve grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister: Arlene Fazal, Kutztown. Ruth was predeceased by two sons: Jeffrey A. Wolfe, Sr. and Michael J. Wolfe; one daughter: Linda F. Schaerffer; and one grandson.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
