Rose Marie Rentschler, 84, of Shoemakersville, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 peacefully in her son's residence. She was the wife of Norman L. Rentschler, died June 21, 1993.
Born in Centre Twp., she was the daughter of the late Allie and Josie Blackwell. Rose Marie worked as a seamstress for several knitting mills and last worked for Celebrated Occasions in Leesport.
She is survived by three sons: Craig N.L. husband of Lynne M. (Melcher) Rentschler, Aaron N.L. husband of Donna P. (Seachrist) Rentschler, and Lance B.K. Rentschler, all of Shoemakersville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by a brother: Jerome Blackwell, Shoemakersville; a sister: Carrie (Blackwell) Davis, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son: Brian N.L. Rentschler; and a brother: Oliver Blackwell.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
