Obituary for Ronald M. Majka

Ronald M. Majka, 75, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2022. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Scott) Majka. They were married on August 17, 1968 and celebrated fifty-three years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Marian and Winnifred (McCarthy) Majka. Ron was a police officer for thirty-four years for the City of Philadelphia. He was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church, Hamburg. Ron was a member of the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles. Ron enjoyed going to the casinos, writing poems and going to the beach.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: Ronald G. Majka, husband of Christine, Bristol; Robert A. Majka, companion of Lauren France, Levittown; and Daniel P. Majka, husband of Beth, Philadelphia; ten grandchildren: Madison, Gavin, Nathan, Andrew, Kayla, Brysin, Nicholas, Robert, Dominic and Natalie. Ron is also survived by three brothers: Anthony, Timothy, and Jeffrey Majka; and two sisters: Margaret Trimbur and Patricia Nagle. He was predeceased by an infant daughter: Marie Majka.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 2:30 pm from St. Mary R.C. Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. A viewing will be held in the church Thursday 1:30 to 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hero Thrill Show, Inc., 1125 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
