Robert L. Correll, 90, of Windsor Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in Green Valley Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pottsville, where he resided. He was the husband of Mary Alice A. (Hess) Correll.

Born in Fleetwood, he was the son of the late Milton, Jr. and Edna (Reichard) Correll. Robert worked for Exide Corporation until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's (Smoke) Lutheran Church, Windsor Twp. Robert was a life member of Hamburg Fish and Game; Shartlesville Fire Company, where he was also firefighter; and Union Fire Company #1, Hamburg. He enjoyed bingo, hunting, watching the Phillies and traveling.

Robert is survived by his children: Terry L. Correll, and his wife Sandra, Hamburg; Carol A. (Correll), wife of Jeffery Shaffer, Shoemakersville; and Leann G. (Correll), wife of Steve Bashore, Hamburg; seven grandchildren: Debra, Craig, Corey, Stacey, Jared, Heath and Jessica; sixteen great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Barry and Kenneth Correll; and Shirley Billig. Robert was predeceased by a granddaughter: Tiffanie; and many siblings.

Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Friday 9:30 to 11:00 am.
