Obituary for Ren Nathaniel Minnich

Ren Nathaniel Minnich, 26, of Shoemakersville, lost his battle with addiction after a courageous fight, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.
Born in Reading, he was the son and step-son of Lori A. (Minnich) Adams and Daniel D. Adams, Jr,. Auburn; and step-son of Todd A. Gough, husband of Nancy Gough, Leesport.
Ren was a 2011 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. He worked as a cook at Pappy T's, Hamburg. Ren enjoyed cooking and was good at it. He also enjoyed concerts and video games and was proud of the computer he built. Ren especially loved his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brothers: Taran, Daniel, Loranzo and Carrick; and sisters: Lexie, Aimee, Courtney and Dorothy. Ren is also survived by his grandmother: Doris Gough, Shoemakersville; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predceased by grandparents: Barry Minnich, Linda Allison, Virginia Pelter and William Gough; and aunt: Terri (Gough) Yeager. Ren will be missed by his fur-baby Winston.
A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be private in Schuylkill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526 to assist the family with final expenses.
