Obituary for Norman R. Kramer

Norman R. Kramer, 62, of Hamburg passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 surrounded by loved ones in his residence. He was the husband of Denise M. (Brazenec) Kramer. They were married May 28, 2011 and celebrated 11 years of marriage. 

Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Edward and Mamie (Mentzer) Kramer. He worked for Eberly's Poultry, John Martin Butcher, Green Dragon Animal Auction, and finally as a general laborer for High Concrete. He was also a self-employed butcher for most of his life. He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Norman enjoyed fishing, raising animals, and going to Green Dragon. He was known as a prankster, and loved to help his friends when they needed him. He was a great man. 

Surviving in addition to his wife is step-son: Dustin R. Brazenec, Reading; three step grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Chelsea, and Dylin; a brother: Melvin Kramer, Denver; a sister: Dorothy Kramer, Welsh Mountain; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother: Charles Kramer. 

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S.4th Street Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the funeral home.
