Obituary for Mary A. Pickel Noecker (Sandridge)

Mary A. Pickel Noecker, 85, formerly of Hamburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in The Berks Heim.
Born in Shoemakersville, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Anna A. (Frazier) Sandridge. Mary was a graduate of Perry High School. She enjoyed working as a crossing guard for the Borough of Hamburg. Mary also enjoyed playing cards, lottery tickets, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children: Dolores A. (Pickel), wife of Michael Painter, Mohrsville; Deborah J. (Pickel), wife of Jesse Spence, Jr., Hamburg; Robert G. Pickel, and his fiance Wendy, Odgen, Utah; Ronald L. Pickel, Bernville; William M. Pickel, widower of Pam Pickel, Hamburg; Tina A. (Pickel), wife of Jose Romero, Mohnton; Donna M. (Pickel), wife of Ron Filarsky, Shamokin; and Richard L. Pickel, and his fiance Tina, Shoemakersville; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Ethel E. Strausser, Hamburg; and Judy A. Sweitzer, West Reading. Mary was predeceased by one daughter: Darlene E. (Pickel) Timmons; one grandson: Jason Spence; her companion: Paul E. Wesner; and three brothers: James W. Sandridge; Edward E. Sandridge; and Kenneth L. Sandridge.
Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be held in Birch Hill Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Saturday 9:30 to 11:00 am.
