Obituary for Mary H. Brensinger (Binner)

Mary H. Brensinger, 92, formerly of Auburn, passed away on January 9, 2019 in Schuylkill Medical Center East, Pottsville. She was taken there from Pinebrook Personal Care, Orwigsburg, where she resided. Mary was the wife of Mark M. Brensinger, who died January 27, 2008.
Born in Fredericksburg, she was the daughter of the late John H. Binner and Bertha A. Krissinger. Mary was a 1944 graduate of Fredericksburg High School and graduated from Schuylkill Business Institute in 1985. She was the Auburn Tax Collector from 1979 to 1989. Mary was an active member of Grace Bible Church of Hawk Mountain. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening. Mary and Mark always enjoyed their pet poodles over the years.
Mary is survived by one son: Randy M. Brensinger, and his wife Mary, Centre Twp.; and one daughter: Brenda J. (Brensinger) Hirsch, McKeansburg; five grandchildren: Kathleen, Raymond, Christopher, Michael and Daniel; and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother: Guy H. Hain. Mary was predeceased by a daughter: Rita J. (Brensinger) Witkus; grandson: Timothy; and a brother: Jay Dunmoyer.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hillside SPCA, 51 SPCA Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
