Obituary for Marie F. Kershner (Kline)

Marie F. Kershner, 93, formerly of Perry Twp., and Hamburg, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Maidencreek Place. She was the wife of George M. Kershner, who died March 19, 2011.
Born in Shoemakersville, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Edna (Groh) Kline. She was a graduate of Perry High School. Marie worked as a sewing machine operator for Merit Underwear Company for thirty-six years. She previously attended Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perry Twp. Marie was a member of the Senior Citizens and the Women's Club of Leesport. She enjoyed sewing and collection dolls.
Marie is survived by her children: Glenn G. Kershner, husband of Valerie E. (Fry) Kershner, Auburn; Elaine J. (Kershner) Heller, Alsace Twp.; and Carol A. (Kershner), wife of Douglas A. Ebling, Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers: Lee Kline, and his wife Sarah; and Daniel Kline, and his wife Arlene, both of Hamburg. Marie was predeceased by two brothers: James and Paul Kline.
Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Friday 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Caring Hospice, 400 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
