Mabel M. Reber, 95, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in ManorCare, Laureldale. She was the wife of Joy A. Reber, who died September 14, 1975.
Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Eva (Heckman) Strausser.
Mabel is survived by one son: Terry L. Reber, husband of Suzanne (Schappell) Reber, Shoemakersville; daughter-in-law: Barbara A. (Frankhouser) Reber, Temple; three grandchildren: Denise Paine, Michelle Reber and Timothy Reber; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three half-siblings: Rita Bausher, Susan Schollenberger and Curtis Strausser. Mabel was predeceased by a son: Dennis J. Reber; a granddaughter: Annette Dietrich; and two brothers: Robert and William Strausser.
Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp.
