Lorena A. Eddinger, 97, formerly of Leesport, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at The Highlands of Wyomissing. She was the wife of Samuel R. Eddinger, who died September 23, 1986.
Born in Blandon, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Minnie (Stufflet) Cramer. Lorena was a 1941 graduate of Ontelaunee Vocational School. She worked for more than thirty years for Diener's Knitting Mill, Leesport. Lorena was a member of the former Trinity United Church of Christ, Leesport, where she was a deacon for thirty years and member of the church guild. She was currently a member of Good Shepherd U.C.C., Tuckerton. Lorena was a member of the Reading Hospital Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Leesport.
Lorena is survived by her son: Terry S. Eddinger, husband of Nelda G. (Ebling) Eddinger, Ruscombmanor Twp.; two grandchildren: Stacey (Eddinger), wife of Steve Scheuring; and Scot Eddinger, husband of Tanya; and five great-grandchildren: Sarah, Emily and Cole Scheuring; and Samuel and Ben Eddinger. She is also survived by one sister: Melva (Cramer), widow of Richard Wise, Bern Twp.; and a brother-in-law: Rocco Santilli, Bern Twp. Lorena was predeceased by two brothers: Wilson and Donald Cramer; and one sister: Virginia (Cramer) Santilli, Bern Twp.
