Obituary for Lloyd F. Hubler Jr.

Lloyd F. Hubler, Jr., 79, of Port Clinton, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 in Orwigsburg Center. He was the husband of Janet D. (Stoltz) Hubler. They were married January 18, 1969 and celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Lloyd F. Hubler, Sr., and Ethel (Karnes) Hubler. He graduated from Blue Mountain High School in 1961. Lloyd proudly served our country in the United States Army, and served during Vietnam. He was a member of Plymouth Brethren Grace and Truth Chapel. He owned and operated Hubler's Business Machines, Port Clinton from 1984 until March 2022. Lloyd loved the outdoors, especially while he was hunting, fishing, gardening, or hiking the Appalachian Trail. He loved old cars, taking things apart and fixing them, and exercise. Most of all, Lloyd loved his grandchildren. He always had Beagles as dogs, and loved his sweets.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: Lloyd F. "Fred" Hubler, III, husband of Diane, Bethel Twp., Phillip B. Hubler, Royal Oak, Michigan, and Jonathan M. Hubler, husband of Danielle, Drums; a daughter: Rebecca L. (Hubler) wife of Sean Hummel, Williamsburg, VA; and eight grandchildren: Andrew B. Hummel, Katie S. Hummel, Abby N. Hummel, Adrian C. Hubler, Lani K. Hubler, Lexie H. Hubler, Micah B. Hubler, and Jacob E. Hubler. He is also survived by a brother: David Hubler; and his sisters: Linda (Hubler) Doss, wife of Donald, Suzanne (Hubler) Lewis, wife of Blake, Debbie (Hubler) Saullo, wife of Saverio, and Connie Mensch. He was predeceased by a brother: Daniel Hubler.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 10:00 am in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (Off-street parking in rear). Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the funeral home.
