Obituary for Linda L. Casper (Hess)
Linda L. Casper, 74, of Windsor Twp., passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Clyde C. Casper, Jr., died April 10, 2020.
Born in Windsor Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harrison A. and Esther V. (Turner) Hess. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Free Church. Linda worked as a nurse's aide for 25 years at Hamburg Center before retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Red Hat Dutchies, and enjoyed sewing for Case for Smiles, at the Wooden Bridge in Kutztown. She always enjoyed board games, puzzles, birds, and crocheting. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a son: Chris A., husband of Tammy L. (Mountz) Casper, Hamburg; a daughter: Sherry L. (Casper) Deeds, wife of Ernest, Brookville, PA; four grandchildren: Zoa Reber, Jason Riegel, Trent Casper, and Ryan Riegel, husband of Kayla A. (Zerbe) Riegel; and 12 great-grandchildren: Adalynn, Clarissa, Kolby, Kolson, Kinsley, Liam, Cohen, Londyn, Layla, Mason, Bryce, and Landon.
Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 24, at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
