Obituary for Lee M. Kline

Lee M. Kline, 82, Perry Twp., passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at his residence. He was the husband of Sara E. (Hartman) Kline, they were married June 15, 1958 and celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Born in Shoemakersville, he was the son of the late Irvin C., and Edna M. (Groh) Kline. He graduated from Perry High School in 1957. He was a member of Zion’s Church, Windsor Twp. Lee worked as a self employed barber for 59 years in Kutztown, retiring in 2018. He was a member of Vaux Masonic Lodge No. 406 F&AM, Hamburg, where he was a 32nd degree master mason. He was a member of Rajah Shrine, the Scottish Rite, Perry Gun Club, Kutztown Game, Lenhartsville Fish and Game, and Kutztown Fire Company. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children: Keith A. Kline, husband of Mary, Columbia, MD, Bethann (Kline) Binder, wife of Larry, and Frank D. Kline, husband of Megan, both of Olewein, Iowa, and Rick L. Schadler, husband of Linda, Fleetwood. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Kyle, Kaitlyn, Hunter, Allyssia Kline and Ashley Schadler; two great-grandsons: Austin and Lukas; and a brother: Daniel C. Kline, husband of Arlene, Windsor Twp. He was predeceased by his brothers: James and Paul Kline; and a sister Marie (Kline) Kershner.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Zion’s Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 am in the funeral home. A Vaux Masonic Lodge Service will be held at 10:45 am.
