Lawrence W. Seaman, 90, of Perry Twp., passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Helen M. (Christ) Seaman, passed away October 31, 2003.
Born in Tilden Twp., he was a son of the late Clarence W. and Mamie E. (Brobst) Seaman. He worked as a painter and foreman for the Reading Railroad for 40+ years until retirement. He was a member of Hamburg Game Association, Kutztown Fire Company, and the NRA. Every year he enjoyed making a day trip to Benezette, PA to see the Elk. He also enjoyed hunting.
Lawrence is survived by two sons: Sterling D. Seaman, Leesport, and Norman P. Seaman, husband of Lillie A. (Steinly), Robesonia; two daughters: Helen M. (Seaman) Braund, wife of Alan G., Kutztown, and Betty L. (Seaman) Bausher, Hamburg; seven grandchildren: Rob, Tammy, Margery, Laurie, Matthew, Michele, and Jennifer; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild with two on the way. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Lloyd, Eleanor, Marlene, Esther, Wayne, Marie, Faye, Curtis, Carol, Jane, and Joan. He was predeceased by a grandson: Keith, and four siblings: Harlan, Jean, Carl, and an unnamed infant.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off-street parking in rear).
