Obituary for Kerry S. "Fred" Williams
Kerry S. Williams, "Fred", 59, of Shartlesville, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Pottsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of Anna Mae (Williams) Long, Shartlesville. Kerry worked for Duggan & Marcon Inc, as a loyal member of Laborer's Union Local No. 1174. He was an active member of the Shartlesville Fire Company. Kerry was an avid hunter and enjoyed shooting pool, NASCAR, sports, especially hockey and attending events with his friends. He was actively involved in Shartlesville and was a valued member of the community. His impact on the people of his hometown, as well as their children and families, will be truly cherished.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his children: Brandon S. Williams and Sara A. Williams, both of Shartlesville; and granddaughter: Eliza L. Johnson. Kerry was predeceased by his step-father: Gilbert Long.
A memorial service for Kerry will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 am. There will be an opportunity for friends and family to share memories of Kerry during the service.
