Obituary for Kenneth M. Boltz

Kenneth M. Boltz, 85, of Centre Twp., passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 in Penn State Health St. Joseph. He was the husband of Judy Ann (Keller) Boltz. They were married on January 12, 1957 and celebrated sixty-five years of marriage.
Born in Upper Bern Twp., he was the son of the late Walter and Pearl (Wagner) Boltz. Kenneth worked for Fairmount Foundry, Hamburg. He previously drove milk truck for Charlie Phillips; and worked at Wentzel and Metz Feed Mill; and the Leesport Auction. Kenneth especially enjoyed farming. He also enjoyed hunting, playing cards, namely "Hausey", quoits, hoedowning and speaking Pennsylvania Dutch.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Bonnie (Boltz), wife of Larry Werley, Centre Twp.; Terry Boltz, husband of Dorothy (Adam), Blandon; David Boltz, husband of Donna (Kline), Bern Twp.; and Robert Boltz, Centre Twp.; eleven grandchildren: Lisa (Nate), Bethany (Donald), Andrew, Josh (Amanda), Shelly (Scott), Robbie (Jen), Kody (Rachel), Kasy, Shannon (Brad), Bobby (Jessica), and Kirstyn (Kyle); and fourteen great-grandchildren. Kenneth is also survived by one brother: Leon Boltz; and two sisters: Miriam Haas and Arlene Smith; all of Centre Twp. He was predeceased by his siblings: Edwin, Walter and Leroy Boltz; Florence Rothermel, Mabel Rentschler, Helen Heckman and Grace Phillips. Kenneth will be missed by his faithful companion, his "baby", Monty.
Services will be held on MONDAY, MARCH 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home MONDAY, MARCH 14, 2022 1:00 to 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the dog rescue of your choice.
