Katie C. Bausher, 95, of Maidencreek Twp., passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Kutztown Manor, joining her husband Ernest who passed away on October 1, 2018. Ernest and Katie celebrated 72 years of marriage on August 31.
Born in Richmond Twp., she was the daughter of the late Elsworth and Cora (Becker) Keller. Katie was a member of Becker's St. Peter's Church, Maidencreek Twp. She loved to bake and enjoyed bingo and gardening, especially flowers. Katie loved children and was very kind-hearted. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law.
Katie is survived by her children: Elaine C. (Bausher), wife of Glenn Pieffer, Leesport; Ronald M. Bausher, and his wife Rosemary, Leesport; and Daniel E. Bausher, and his wife Sylvia, Pricetown; four grandchildren Rosalind Seem, wife of John Seem; Nancy Weiss, wife of Rodney Weiss; Kimberly Bausher; and Dennis Bausher, and his wife Kristen; and two great-grandchildren: Sebastian and Amber. She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter: Elizabeth Marie Seem; twin brother: Arthur Keller; brothers: Paul, Howard, and John Keller; and sisters: Erma Spayd; Sadie Adams; and Ida Heinly.
Services for Katie and Ernest will be held Today, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A viewing will be held in the funeral home today 10:00 to 11:00 am. The graveside service for Ernest and Katie will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am at Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Maidencreek Twp.
