Obituary

Obituary for John J. Timtishin

John Joseph Timtishin, passed away at the age of 50 on September 24, 2020 at the Reading hospital. He
is survived by his parents Theresa and Michael Timtishin. His birth father John Leher died in 1970.

He is also survived by three loving sisters and their spouses, Janiece and Michael Davis, Joanna Timtishin
and Robert Reinhardt, and Sarah and David Herrmann. He leaves 8 nieces and nephews, Kiersten and
Kaitlyn Davis, Ava, Lyla, and Kayla Reinhardt, and Lucas, Norah, and Avery Herrmann who loved him and
will miss him very much. He was such a kind and loving uncle.

John was a graduate of Wilson West Lawn High School and subsequently graduated from the Hiram
Andrews Institute in Johnstown, Pa in the field of Commercial Cooking. He was employed by the
Hamburg Center for over 25 years until its closing and his retirement due to illness in 2018. He resided in
Hamburg until 2018 and was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church.

For the past two years he resided in Wyomissing, Pa. and is a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. He
lived most of his adult life in Hamburg until illness forced his move closer to his health care facilities.
While in Hamburg he loved community activities as a member of the Jaycees, Lions Club and the Grange,
while also assisting at church Bingo games and Halloween activities in the Borough. Who doesn't love
the King Frost parade and Hamburger Festival?

John had many obstacles to overcome through his journey of life, but he exceeded all expectations and
never complained. His light will shine brightly in Heaven forever and ever.

Due to the Pandemic, services will be private and at the Family's discretion. However, a Celebration of
Life is planned post pandemic. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of
arrangements. For online condolences, please visit www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com

John will always hold a special place in my heart. He was always upbeat, always positive and always made the best of his situation. He never complained and had such a caring way about him plus a great sense of humor. I'm so glad I ran into him in the giant parking lot pre-COVID and I always looked for him when I was there hoping to see him again. Mike, Theresa and family...you are in my thoughts. Sincerely Caroline Clark

John was my nephew. My two sons, Brandon and Justin, John’s cousins, will miss his presence at family gatherings. We spent many holidays together at Grammy and Grampap’s, but I know John is with them in heaven along with our Lord! I will always remember our last phone conversation while he was a patient. So glad I got to talk with him. He was in such good spirits at that time. God bless his mom and dad as well as sisters, nieces and nephew.
