Jean R. Seaman, 92, formerly of Hamburg, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Keystone Villa, Blandon, where she resided. She was the wife of Mark M. Seaman, who died June 14, 2015.
Born in West Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul M. and Susan B. (Rothermel) Batdorf. Jean was a 1947 graduate of Hamburg High School. She worked as an administrative assistant for Price Battery, General Battery, and last Exide Corporation from 1947 until retiring in 1990. Jean was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp., where she was a former Sunday School teacher and choir member.
Jean is survived by two nephews: W. Mark Heiser and Bruce Seaman; and four nieces: Susan (Heiser) Courchesne, LuAnn Seaman, Lorie Seaman, and Dianne Seaman. She was predeceased by her sister: Marie A. (Batdorf) Heiser; and her faithful companion: Buffy.

Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am, January 15, 2021 from St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michael's Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the church Friday 9:30 to 10:30 am. Covid-19 protocols must be followed at all times. Those attending must wear masks and practice social distancing.
