Obituary for Grace J. Murray (Fierro)
Grace J. Murray, 80, of Leesport, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 in the Reading Hospital.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Fierro and Esther M. (Brobst) Moyer. Grace worked for the Berks County Intermediate Unit as a school bus aide. She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perry Twp. Grace enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grace is survived by two daughters: Karen M. Brown, wife of Paul, and Mary Lynn Clark, wife of Russell; both of Leesport; son-in-law: Prent L. Steffy, Leesport; six grandchildren: Christine Reimer (David); Carissa Burns (Zachary); Kassandra Kelly (John); Dylan Brown; Derick Clark (Amanda); and Nicholas Clark (fiance Kattie); six great-grandchildren; Miah and Trent Clark; Harvey Burns; and McKenzie, Trey and Lilyanna Clark; and a seventh great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her brother: Donald R. Fierro, husband of Joan; and two nephews: Robert J. Fierro and Michael D. Fierro. Grace was predeceased by her daughter: Deborah J. Steffy, died March 18, 2016; and a brother: Dominic Fierro.
A celebration of Grace's life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
