Obituary for Frank J. Bastek
Frank John Bastek passed away at the Reading Hospital on Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was 56 year old.
He is the son of John J Bastek and the late June Bastek (Mother) and brother Daniel.
He is survived by his Father John J Bastek and Brother Daniel Bastek and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Frank attended School in the Muhlenberg School District. He had a love of reading books, watching and recording old movies and attending work shop. He worked at the Threshold Reahabilation Services workshop for 23 years. Frank had a gift of knowing all family birthdays and everyone’s age.
He was cared for by Invision Human Services. He referred to Zena, one of his care givers as his Guardian Angel. He also cared a great deal about Maurice, Adil, and many other care givers that cared for him over the years. A special thank-you to all of his care givers for their loving care, kindness and services.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 10:30 am in Holy Guardian Angels Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. Viewings will be held Thursday, August 25, 6-8 pm and Friday, August 26 from 9-10 am both in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533.
