Obituary for Francesca Liguoro

Francesca Liguoro, 85, passed away peacefully into eternity on October 8, 2022. It was on this day that an Earth angel ascended and was at last reunited with her departed family. Francesca and Carmine, her husband of 49 years, were finally reunited, two souls, at long last, coming back together in their rightful place as one. She was also met by her beloved son, Luigi, and her sweet grandson, Michael, her parents, Luigi and Giuseppina and her brother Giovanni who predeceased her.
Francesca was born on October 25, 1936, in Agrigento Italy. She moved to the United States on April 4, 1956 with her parents and sister. She met her husband Carmine in 1958, married in 1960 and together they owned and operated several successful businesses in both New York and Pennsylvania. She retired from the last of those businesses, Pizza Como, in Hamburg PA, in 2000.
Francesca has touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by us all. She asks us to please not grieve her passing, for she is finally at peace and reunited with her loved ones. She knows she will be with us again when our time on this earth ends.
She is survived by her son, Alfredo, husband of Susan, her daughter JoMarie, wife of Stefano, five grandchildren, Carmine, Antonio, Alisia, Giulia, and Valerio, as well as six great grandchildren, Giuliana, Aurora, Mattia, Alessandro, Jude, and Sophia. In addition she is survived by her brother, Giuseppe, husband of Carmela and her sister, Rosalia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at The Bridge Church, 3561 Old Route 22, Hamburg, PA 19526 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 to 11:55, followed by a Memorial Service from 12:00-1:00.
