Obituary for Fern M. Stricker (Kerschner)
Fern M. Stricker, 93, of Blandon, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 in ManorCare, Laureldale. She was the wife of Raymond H. Stricker, who died November 30, 2000.
Born in Tilden Twp., she was the daughter of the late Irwin D. and Della (Sterner) Kerschner. Fern worked for forty-four years for Diener Knitting Mill. She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perry Twp. Fern enjoyed playing pinochle on Saturday nights and playing bingo in her later years.
She also enjoyed bowling in her earlier years and was proud of her perfect game of 300 that she bowled one Friday evening at the Laurel Lanes Bowling Alley.
Fern is survived by two sisters: Ruth Schappell and Dorothy Heckman. She is also survived by many of her loving nieces and nephews plus additional family members whom she enjoyed spending time with. Fern was predeceased by her siblings: Harvey Buck, Curtis Kerschner, Clarence Kerschner, Ralph Kerschner, Mahlon Kerschner, Paul Kerschner, Verna Moser and Edna Hoffert.
