Obituary for Elaine J. Miller (Adam)
Elaine J. Miller, 85, of Richmond Twp., passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp.
Born in Perry Twp., she was the daughter of the late Wilson T. and Tamsen L. (Merkel) Adam. Elaine was a graduate of Perry High School. She was an active member of Zion's Church, Windsor Castle. Elaine was a member of the Virginville Grange. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid bird watcher, and was especially fond of cardinals. Elaine was the original "soccer mom".
Elaine is survived by her three sons: Rory A. Miller, Kirbyville; Brett R. Miller, and his wife Joan, Quarryville; and Clint W. Miller, and his wife Robin, Richmond Twp.; seven grandchildren; Seth and Adam Miller; Benjamin Miller; Kate (Miller) Snyder; and Gene, Jason and Beau Miller; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother: Thomas R. Adam, and his wife Carolyn, Shoemakersville; and four sisters: Faye Weidenhammer, wife of Jim, Perry Twp.; Lucy Unger, widow of Barry, Schuylkill Haven; Loretta Berta, wife of Dudley, Allentown; and Mary Wagner, wife of Neil, Pittsburgh. Elaine was predeceased by a sister: Anna Schroeder.
