Obituary for Donald G. "Don" Reinert Sr.
Donald G. Reinert, Sr., 89, formerly of Tilden Twp., passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Orwigsburg Center. He was the husband of the late Beverly (Kline) Reinert.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late George and Edna (Hafer) Reinert. When Donald went to church, he attended Kimmel's Church, Orwigsburg. He was a United States Air Force Veteran during the Korean War. Donald worked as a laborer for the Muhlenberg Township Water Authority. He enjoyed camping, sports, trains, and riding his bicycle.
He is survived by two sons: Donald G. Reinert, Jr., and his wife Cheryl, Douglassville, John A. Reinert, and his wife Stacey, California; two daughters: Shari A. (Reinert) Young and her husband Darren, North Carolina, and Elizabeth G. (Reinert) McMannus, and her husband Nate, Pittsburgh; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
