Obituary for Donald Fegley
Donald L. Fegley, 81, of Laureldale, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Lotus G. (Adams) Fegley. They were married on May 19, 1962 and celebrated fifty-nine years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Rhoades) Fegley. He was a 1958 graduate of Reading High School. Donald was in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a buyer for C.K. Whitner; and last worked as a district manager for the Reading Eagle. Donald was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Reading. He and his wife loved going to the mountains and traveling throughout the United States. Donald also loved his dachshunds.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Stacy L. (Fegley), wife of Thomas Sauer, Exeter; and Mark A. Fegley, husband of Lisa (Geschwindt) Hamburg; and four grandchildren: Bristol Sauer, Alyssa Sauer, Trevor Fegley and Jacob Fegley. Donald is also survived by three brothers: Robert Fegley, widower of Sandra, Mt. Penn; Thomas Fegley, husband of Debbie, Fleetwood; and David Fegley, husband of Debbie, Robesonia. He was predeceased by a brother: James Fegley
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 10:00 to 11:30 am.
