Obituary for Dianne K. Leibensperger (Herber)

Dianne K. Leibensperger, 72, of Hamburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 31, 2021 in her residence. She was the wife and best friend of M. Domer Leibensperger, who died December 14, 2015.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd W. and Anna M. (Hummel) Herber. She was a 1966 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. Dianne was a self-employed business woman in Hamburg, owning and operating Leibensperger Card and Gift Shop, Leibensperger Real Estate, and dedicated business partner of Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Dianne was a member of the Rotary Club of Hamburg, where she was past president and a Paul Harris Fellow; the Order of Eastern Star; and a former member of the Clementine Rebekah Lodge; and the Hamburg Jaycee Wives. She loved going to her "happy place", Long Beach Island, New Jersey, especially Barnegat Light and High Bar Harbor. Dianne enjoyed going to Clearwater Beach, Florida for Phillies Spring Training; going on cruises; and traveling with her friends. She was a friend to all.

Dianne is survived by her four loving children: Donna M. Leibensperger Parr, wife of Christopher L. Parr, Hamburg; Della M. (Leibensperger) Kennedy, wife of Todd J. Kennedy, Hamburg; Debra M. (Leibensperger) Klokis, wife of Todd M. Klokis, Riverton, New Jersey; and Derek M.D. Leibensperger, husband of Andrea M. (Stetzler) Leibensperger, Hamburg; and eight grandchildren: Ava and Lily Parr; Ethan and Anabel Kennedy; Henry and Roslyn Klokis; and Calvin and Miles Leibensperger. She is also survived by her sister: Faye E. (Herber) Miller, widow of Larry D. Miller, Centre Twp.; brother-in-law: S. Regnal Leibensperger, husband of Julia (Leskin) Leibensperger, Orwigsburg; and five nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 99 Church Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. Viewings will be held on Friday 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday 8:30 to 10:30 am in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear).
