Obituary for David W. Graeff
David W. Graeff, 75, of Fleetwood, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 in Penn State Health St. Joseph. He was the husband of Linda R. (Lohrke) Graeff. They were married on August 17, 1968 and celebrated fifty-three years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Wayne S. and Sara W. (Spohn) Graeff. David was a 1964 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana Technical Institute, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Brush Wellman, now Materion. He was also a driver for Pivot Physical Therapy.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Rebecca A. (Graeff) Miller, wife of Scott Miller, Blandon; and Matthew D. Graeff, significant other of Kim, Temple; five grandchildren: Tyler Quillman, husband of Kaley; Ethan Miller, fiance of Megan; Katelyn Quillman, significant other of Nate; Kirsten Graeff, significant other of Austin; and Kara Graeff; and one great-granddaughter: Olyvia. David was predeceased by his daughter: Hether L. (Graeff) Quillman, wife of Franklin Quillman, who died September 9, 2021.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 7:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 6:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of one's choice.
