Obituary for Daniel C. Kline

Daniel C. Kline, "Putt", 84, of West Hamburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in ManorCare,, Laureldale. He was the husband of Marlene M. (Seaman) Kline. They were married on June 28, 1958 and celebrated sixty-four years of marriage.
Born in Shoemakersville, he was the son of the late Leroy and Annie (Hess) Kline. Daniel was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard. He first worked for Wolfe Dye and Bleach, then Glen-Gery, and W&T Motel. Daniel was a scout master for Troop #163, Shoemakersville. He was a member of the Shoemakersville Senior Citizens; and the Hamburg, Shoemakersville and Kutztown Fire Companies. Daniel enjoyed camping, playing cards, going to the casinos; and was a fan of the Reading Royals.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Barry C. Kline, husband of Donna (Adams), Windsor Twp.; Kelly M. Gressley, wife of Glenn, Greenwich Twp.; Patricia A. Lord, wife of Frank, Shoemakersville; and Alan D. Kline, Shartlesville; four grandchildren: Cheryl Seibert, Karen Kantner, Valerie Kline; and Julian Kantner; three great-grandchildren: Ethan Kline, Emerson Kline and Colby DeLong; and one great-great-granddaughter: Magna Kline. Daniel is also survived by two brothers: Harold Kline, West Reading; David Kline, Maidencreek Twp.; and Betty Billman, Tilden Twp. He was predeceased by a granddaughter: Jennifer DeLong; three brothers: Leroy Kline, Donald Kline and Carl Kline; one sister: Arlene Borkey; and two infant siblings.
