Obituary for Cynthia C. Richards
Cynthia Colcord Richards, 64, of Mohrsville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in her residence. She was the wife of George A. Richards.
Born in Dover, NJ she was the daughter of the late Robert and Yvonne (Mansson) Colcord. She graduated from Hopatcong High School (NJ). Cyndi worked as a home health care professional. She loved life, her family, and animals.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Dylan A.R. Richards; a daughter: Teagan Richards and husband Bradley Torres; four grandchildren: Eric Brown, Talon Torres, Juliana Torres, and Kolton Torres. Cyndi is also survived by a sister: Patricia Colcord-Welch, wife of David Welch, Sheridan, MT.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (Off-Street Parking in Rear). A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home. Cyndi had a great love of all animals and spent much of her time helping heal the broken hearts of the horses, cats, dogs, and many other abandoned pets that found their way to Maranatha Farms Animal Sanctuary.
