Obituary for Charles O. Dautrich

Charles O. Dautrich, 76, of Hamburg, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in his residence. He was the husband of Joan E. (Harris) Dautrich. They were married July 11, 1970 and celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Born in West Nantmeal Twp., he was the son of the late Paul H. and Naomi V. (Breidenstein) Dautrich. He graduated from Governor Mifflin High School. Charles was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church, Tilden Twp. He was a US Army Veteran. Charles worked as a crane operator at CarTech for 30 years until retirement. He enjoyed making puzzles, playing video games, and fishing. He also enjoyed Westerns. He served as Deacon and was the Treasurer for 30 years at church.

He is survived by a daughter: Tina L. (Dautrich) Ketcher, Ogden, UT; a step son: William Kenneth Bryson, husband of Christina (Eisele), West Grove; two grandchildren: Heidi and Kristy; and four great-grandchildren: Rihanna, Eric, Hannah, and Jonah. He is also survived by two sisters: Naomi (Dautrich) Brigel, and Betty (Dautrich) Blank. He was predeceased by his siblings: Paul, James, Katherine, Ruth, Barbara, and Lottie.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:00 am from Faith Bible Baptist Church, 138 Maple Drive Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 in the church. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
