Obituary for Brenda S. Waits
Brenda S. Waits, 46, of Shoemakersville, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was the fiance of Ross E. Ballard, Shoemakersville.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Irene v. (Dietrich) Waits, Hamburg; and the late James N. Waits, Sr.; and Bruce A. Spatz. Brenda was a 1992 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. She worked for the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. Brenda was taking classes to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was very proud of her schooling and the grades she was receiving. Brenda enjoyed The Plow Boys, going to farmers markets, NASCAR, and loved to swim. She was a fan of the Chicago Bears. Brenda loved her family and her dogs.
Brenda is also survived by her siblings: Vincent Waits, Harrisburg; Colin Waits, China; Kimberly Christman (Troy), Lenhartsville; James Waits (Stephanie), Reading; Rebecca Daubert (Christopher), Windsor Castle; Derek Spatz (Monica), Douglassville; and Stephanie Lott (Matthew), Shillington. She is also survived by two grandchildren:
Lydia Patricia Ballard and Rosman Edward Ballard, V; and her many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Zion Moselem Church Cemetery, Kutztown.
