Obituary for Bonita M. Light
Bonita M. "Bonnie" Light, 70, of Bethel Twp., passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 in her son's residence.
Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Myrle E. (Westenberger) Light. She graduated from Northern Lebanon High School in 1969 and was the class Valedictorian. Bonnie worked as a dental assistant for about 30 years, working for Dr. Tucker and later Dr. Todd in Lebanon before retiring in October 2020. She was a church organist for 50+ years most recently playing at St. Paul's U.C.C.- Summer Hill, Schuylkill County. She loved turtles, and collected anything that had to do with a turtle. She loved Disney World, flowers, and gardening. She especially loved her grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by three sons: Christopher L. Neuin, Bethel; Jeremy S. Neuin husband of Jennifer L. (Wessner), Windsor Twp.; and Jonathan G. Neuin, Bethel; and three grandchildren: Caleb H., Owen T., and Noah C., Neuin. She is also survived by three brothers: David Light, Garland, TX, Paul Light, Lebanon, and Mark Light, Reitsville; and her companion: Kenneth Triest, Myerstown. She was predeceased by a brother: Gene A. Light; and a sister: Ruth (Light) Gross.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00 am from St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 1235 Summer Hill Road, Auburn, PA 17922. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the church.
