Obituary for Avalion M. Bossler (Moyer)
Avalion M. Bossler, 86, of Laureldale, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Clark Ray Bossler, who died October 17, 2019.
Born in Leesport, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Stella (Keller) Moyer. Avalion worked for the Jo-Lyn Diner, Brush Wellman and Textile Chemical. Avalion was a 19-year member of Faith Community Church, Richland. She was a great woman of prayer and faith. Avalion had 50 years of service to the Order of Eastern Star; Rebekah Lodge; Leesport Historical Society. She enjoyed swimming laps in her pool, playing solitaire and pinochle; her senior club and traveling with her husband Clark.
Avalion is survived by two sons: Pastor Clark L. Bossler, husband of Harmony, Leesport; and Craig S. Bossler, husband of Carolyn, Mountain Home, Monroe County; seven grandchildren: Tanya Bossler; Aubrey Bossler; Hannah (Bossler) Rodriguez, wife of Anthony; Lydia Bossler, fiance of Danny Walton; Rachel (Bossler) Price, wife of Alex; Emily (Bossler) Gurinowich, wife of Zach; and Caleb Bossler; and one great-grandson: Xavier Joel. She was predeceased by three brothers: Leroy Stoudt, Herbert Moyer and Mervin F. Moyer.
A memorial service for Avalion will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A visitation with the family will be held in the funeral home Saturday, April 1, 9:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Faith Community Church, 206 E.
